ivySCI AI Assistant integrates an AI intelligent engine and excels in language text processing. It can help you paraphrase articles, polish them, and provide user-friendly translation.

Where to find it

Find ivyPilot at the entrance of the homepage, as shown in the following figure, and enter the corresponding page. You can also press the shortcut key CTRL (CMD on Mac) + U to open it on any interface.

After entering your text in the box, AI Assistant provides the following features:

  • Free Dialogue: Offers services like format conversion, information retrieval, etc., as per your needs.
  • Paraphrasing: When quoting the original text, use paraphrasing to avoid plagiarism and academic misconduct.
  • Polishing: Corrects grammar, word usage, and enhances academic expression in English.
  • Translation: Translate your text in a user-friendly manner.
  • Elaborate: Enriches content while preserving original meaning and style.
  • Search word optimization: Analyzes and optimizes search terms to improve retrieval efficiency.
  • AI Journal Selection: Automatically recommends the most suitable journals based on article titles/abstracts.

How to Use AI Free Dialogue

  1. Discuss Research Topics Example: If we want to study the impact of meditation on the health of researchers, we can ask AI like this: I plan to take "the impact of long - term sitting on researchers' health" as my research topic. From which perspectives can I explore it?
  2. Reply to Reviewers/Supervisors Example: If you want to reply to the reviewer's comments or the supervisor's comments, and you want to be polite, use appropriate language, but also protect your own position. You can ask AI like this: I’m now responding to a reviewer. The supplementary experiment they mentioned has been discussed in other literatures, and our experiment yielded similar results. We think this experiment is unnecessary. Please help me reply to the reviewer.
  3. Convert Literature Formats Example: If you temporarily need a literature format that is not available in ivySCI, you can ask the AI like this: Please convert the literature format I provide into a style similar to this: {Example of the format you want}. After inputting, the AI will prompt you to enter the format you want to convert.
