Cloud Synchronization Across Mobile, Tablet, and Computer

All data (projects, literatures, notes) under IvySci is cloud-synchronized in real-time when using the same account.

Synchronization Issues

  1. Wrong Account Login
    • Cause: Different account IDs (e.g., logged in via phone number vs. WeChat).
    • Check: Verify account ID:
      • Desktop: Click the avatar at the bottom-left.
      • Tablet/Phone: Tap the top-right entry.
      • If IDs differ, re-login with the same account.
  2. Mismatched Projects
    • Cause: Different projects selected across devices.
    • Fix:
      • Desktop: Go to My Projects → project list.
      • Tablet/Phone: Tap top-left list → project dropdown → select the same project.

iPad Handwritten Notes Not Syncing with Computer

If only the handwritten notes on the iPad cannot be synchronized in real-time on the computer, it is due to the synchronization mechanism.

Why? Handwritten notes use final synchronization (not real-time, due to complex calculations).

  • Mobile Sync Triggers

    (for phones/iPads):

    1. Exit the current document (triggers cloud sync).
    2. Reopen the document (rechecks sync).
  • Computer Sync: Syncs only when you open a document (not real-time like mobile pull-to-refresh).

So if you want to check if the notes are synchronized, the operation steps are as follows:

  • Exit the document on your Pad.

  • Wait a moment.

  • Reopen the document on your computer. Use Ctrl+R (macOS Cmd+R) to refresh if needed.

Generally, you don't need to do this repeatedly. This will cause an increase in the space occupied by your data and waste storage space.
