Can I Install ivySCI on Drive D or a Custom Location?
Currently, ivySCI can only be installed on Drive C. The installation size is relatively small and won't consume much space. You can change the cache directory in the settings to any location with write permissions.
How to Export and Delete Data?
You can export the entire project, including PDFs, notes, and references data. The export option is shown below:
If you want to delete a project, you need to archive it first. You can find the archive option in the project operation menu. After archiving, you can delete the project through archived projects in the project lists.
Need to Reload Every Time I Open the Desktop App
This occurs because your system prevents the program from creating a desktop shortcut during installation. You can create it manually:
- Open the following path in File Explorer:
%USERPROFILE%\AppData\Local\Programs\ivysci-desktop-app
- Locate ivysci.exe.
- Right-click and select 'Send to' -> 'Desktop.'
