Single PDF Export and Sharing

User Question: How to find and share the source PDF of a literature document imported into ivySCI?

Answer:

1. Open the literature PDF for which you need to download the original file.
2. Click the download icon in the upper-right corner, select the download path, and you will obtain the original PDF file.

Download on iOS

On iOS, the download button is in the Meta tab at the bottom of the reader. Tap that tab once, and the download button appears.

1. Open the literature you want to download.
2. Tap the document icon on the far left of the bottom bar (the Meta tab).
3. After the literature info panel opens, a green Download button appears at the bottom. Tap it to save the PDF.

Export PDF with Handwritten Notes or Highlights

If you need to export a literature PDF with handwritten notes or highlight marks, you can download it on your iPad (after opening the document, tap the "Download" button in the lower-right corner) and select a save path.

Share a Document with Friends

1. On the main interface, right-click the literature you want to share.
2. Click Share to generate a link.
3. Your peer can open the document in ivySCI via this link.
